Katie Ward, Houston, Texas, is the backbone of JKJ Motorsports, Inc, as Katie is Jonathan’s fiancée and co-owner of the racing team. She handles the website, graphic design, promotional materials and many of the decisions made within the team. Katie and Jonathan have been racing together since 2005. Together, they handle every aspect of the racing organization, from marketing to cooking.
Glen Johnson, Beaumont, Texas, is the patriarch of Johnson Boyz Motorsports. He has been racing since the late 1970’s and brings a wealth of knowledge and ability to the team. With multiple track championships on his resume, Glen continues to aid son Jonathan’s racing activities. He and wife Vicki have been racing with Chris and Jonathan since they began in 1992.
Chris Johnson, League City, Texas, continues involvement with the team as an engineer and consultant. Chris's understanding for mechanical and fluid systems is a great asset to the team.
Bobby Martin, Beaumont, Texas, has over thirty years in the automotive industry to bring his wealth of knowledge to the Johnson Boyz team. He enjoys working with the car as a way of relaxation and helps push Jonathan to the forefront of the class with his ability to read a racetrack. Bobby’s knack for cooking on the grill is known and appreciated by the team and those pitted around the trailer at the racetrack.
